The microcar is driven by a variomatic transmission system. This variomatic consists of two couplings: the engine and the gearbox pulley. The drive belt provides power transfer between these pulleys. The variomatic transmission contain various wearing parts such as the weight holders, plastic bearings and carbon shoes.
